How much does the Lifeline Service Cost?

Cost of service varies in different areas. In Nanaimo the costs are:

Installation/activation Fee  $40.00

Monthly monitoring fee       $37.00

Is there a specific length of time that I must keep the service?

No. The Lifeline Monitoring Agreement has no time clause, minimum amount of time is one month, after the first month, service is provided on a month to month basis.

Will I have any additional costs such as for maintenance?

No, all maintenance costs are taken care of by the program.
