How can I get Lifeline?
Call the Lifeline office nearest your locaton, click on BC Lifeline Programs (at left) and then the list of programs. You will find listings for all member programs with the areas of service noted.

How much does the Lifeline Service Cost?

Cost of service varies in different areas, you would need to contact the program in your area for the costs.

How do I get Lifeline Services if I am unable to pay the monthly fee?

Some programs have sponsorship or financial assistance programs. Programs are also able to help you determine if you already qualify for sponsorship through an organization you may already be association with. E.G. Veterans who qualify for Veterans Affairs Canada assistance often also qualify for Lifeline to be covered.

Is there a specific length of time that I must keep the service?

No. The Lifeline Monitoring Agreement has no time clause, minimum amount of time is one month, after the first month, service is provided on a month to month basis.

Will I have any additional costs such as for maintenance?

No, all maintenance costs are taken care of by the program.
